Found ThingsMight As Well Co.

Refunds and returns.

Effective 29 August 2026.

This is a family business in Castle Rock, Colorado. There is no returns department and no warehouse. There is a workbench at home. So this is written plainly rather than defensively, and we would always rather fix a problem than argue about one.

This covers Found Things tags first, then everything else we make: car line holders, and the small things that come after them. The sums come out differently for different objects, so each gets its own plain paragraph.

When it ships

Within three business days of your order, from Castle Rock, Colorado. If something holds it up we will email you before the three days are out, tell you the new date, and refund you in full if you would rather not wait.

If it arrives damaged, faulty, or wrong

We replace it or refund it, whichever you prefer, and we cover the cost. Email us a photo. That is all we need. Do not mail anything back.

If you change your mind

Email us within 30 days of delivery and we refund the whole order. No reason needed and no restocking fee.

Please do not mail the tags back. Each one is numbered to your order and encoded to that number, so a returned tag cannot go to anyone else. Keep them or recycle them.

We print these one at a time, and a refund lands on a person rather than a spreadsheet. We are trusting you, and nearly everybody earns it.

If you already set a tag up

Tell us the tag numbers when you email. We switch them off, which deletes the details you entered and stops the tag pointing at your phone number. That matters more than the refund does.

How to ask

Email hello@mightaswellco.com with your order number, or the email address you ordered with if you cannot find it. A person reads it.

When the money comes back

We send the refund to the card you paid with, usually within three business days of hearing from you. Your bank normally takes a few days more to show it.

Everything that is not a tag

If a holder, or anything else we made, arrives damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered, we replace it or refund it, whichever you prefer, and we cover the cost. Email us a photo. Do not mail anything back.

Changed your mind on a holder or anything else that is not a tag? Email us within 30 days of delivery. If it is unused we refund it in full; we will tell you where to send it, and the return shipping is yours.

Custom products are made individually, so they cannot go to anyone else. Cancel any time before you approve the proof and we refund you in full. Once you approve the proof and printing starts, the order is final, with one exception: if it arrives damaged, faulty, or different from the proof you approved, we make it right with a replacement or a refund.

If we ever stop

A tag is only worth the thing standing behind it. Companies in this line have closed before without telling anyone: their tags simply went quiet, and a finder scanning one today gets a blank page and no explanation. We intend to keep these tags answering for a very long time. But this is a family business in Castle Rock, not a company with a legal department, and nobody gets to promise the future. So here is what we can promise. If we ever wind Found Things down, every owner with a tag switched on gets an email at least 90 days before the tag pages stop answering, and a copy of everything we hold on that tag. If something goes badly wrong and ninety days is not ours to give, you will get whatever notice we can manage, as early as we can manage it, and a plain account of what happened. We will change how Found Things works over time, because that is what keeping something alive looks like. But we will not change it out from under you without saying so.
